[ This is Vlad in the kitchen, surrounded by an array of baking ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, butter, eggs, so on and so forth.

He's reaching for the baking powder that he's laid out on the counter, which, due to his singleminded BAKING BRAIN he's not realizing is encroaching on Omi's space. ]

[housewolf]

[Omi's here with so many different batters because he cannot deal with thinking right now. If he's thinking about cooking, if he's doing anything else, then he can't think about how bad that trial went.]

[ Well, Vlad can't match Omi's calmness, so. Sorry. ]

Do you need the baking powder or not?

[He did almost get voted for, so valid.]

I'll use it after you.

[ He'll measure the right amount out carefully, gently....and then DUMP IT VICIOUSLY into the bowl and start whisking it vigorously.

He slams the can of baking powder down on the counter and it sends a tuft of powder up into the air. ]

[Meanwhile Omi is very carefully measuring his out, gently putting it down.

And then very aggressively mixing his batter.]

[ ...huh. another angry baker. unexpected--especially from this very chill-ass dude. ]

Hmm. You too, then?

[housewolf]

You have more of a right to it at the moment.

[Considering he almost died today.]

[ hmmf! damn right he does! ]

Apparently trying to help solve a murder constitutes suspicious behavior these days.

I'm not sure how you ended up that high...

[ slamming his mixing bowl down with a huff: ]

I simply--can't believe that of the two people who were voted for, I was one of them! When the evidence clearly, obviously absolved me of any wrongdoing!

None of it seemed to point towards you.

Exactly! At least the other person was--well, if not guilty, then certainly framed! I did nothing but help!

[Omi stripped immediately.]

At least you had the sense to take part and clear yourself right away.

[ was it sense, though, or just horniness. ]

I figured it was easier than arguing about it.

but then clears his throat and regains composure ]

[ He goes back to mixing his batter for a minute before stopping and glancing over again. ]

What are you making, exactly?

[housewolf]

Carrot cake, brownies, peanut butter cookies, gingerbread.

[The more he makes, the less he has to think]

My, so much already planned out at once?

[ Vlad just came in here with absolutely no plan, he's just baking things one at a time, flying by the seat of his pants ]
